Perhaps the most famous pornstar in the world, Jenna Jameson got her start as an exotic dancer in the Las Vegas area while still underage by using a fake I.D. and raked in $2000 a night. A few years later, Jenna decided to start taking off her clothes in front of the camera – with her first adult role being a softcore one with girlfriend Nikki Tyler for director Andrew Blake.

Jenna’s first hardcore scenes were shot by Randy West for his popular Up and Cummers Series. Jenna’s first performances can be seen in Up and Cummers 10 and Up and Cummers 11 Her scene in Vol. 11 marked her first on-camera boy/girl action.

After recovering from her addictions to drugs, Jenna was given a chance to make a name for herself in the adult industry. In 1995, Wicked Pictures offered Jenna an exclusive contract, and it was during her time at Wicked that Jenna Jameson became the most popular and well-known starlet in the adult industry. Her first Wicked release was Blue Movie, followed by a string of other Wicked hits, including Conquest, Flashpoint, Satyr, and Dream Quest.

In 2000, Jenna and then-boyfriend Jay Grdina created Club Jenna, a new adult production company, which has become one of the most successful in the industry. Jenna began performing exclusively for Club Jenna and occasionally for Vivid Pictures, which became the distributer of Club Jenna products. The first Club Jenna release, Briana Loves Jenna was a smash with porn viewers, becoming one of Ms. Jameson’s best-selling titles to date. In 2006, Playboy Enterprises bought Club Jenna, which opened up a world of outlets for Club Jenna products to be sold through that included TV, video-on-demand, and cellular phones. Playboy also renamed one of their Spice Network pay-per-view channels ClubJenna.

Jameson and Grdina were married in 2003, but the relationship didn’t last, and Jenna filed for divorce in 2006. However, Jenna didn’t stay single for long. She was attached briefly to musician Dave Navarro, but that love match quickly flickered out to make way for the relationship she currently has with Tito Ortiz, former UFC Champion.

The past several years have seen less and less of Jenna in porn, and at the recent 2008 AVN Awards Show, Jenna announced publically that she had officially retired from the adult industry. But her fans need not despair because a number of scenes and movies featuring Jenna are just now in the process of being released, which means her many fans can enjoy “new” material with Ms. Jameson for at least a few more years. Also available for her fan’s enjoyment is Jenna’s autobiography How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale, as well her role in Zombie Strippers, a comedy-horror film.
